Welcome back to our special Meet the Team series, where we introduce you to some of the people who are delivering quality cheese for our customers. Say hello to Augustina Assuah, who works in laboratory quality assurance in the technical department.
What do you do at Bridge Cheese?
I am responsible for testing our products to make sure they meet the highest standard of quality. Our customers expect consistency and quality, so we test everything before we send their orders to them.
How long have you worked at Bridge Cheese?
I have worked at Bridge Cheese for one year and eight months and this is my first job in the food industry.
What excites you most about your job?
Seeing everyone, as it’s such a friendly environment – we are like one big family.
What is your superpower at work?
My superpower at work is good communication, as it helps me and the team.
What do you like the most about working for Bridge Cheese?
Bridge Cheese is my first job in the UK. On my very first day, everyone welcomed me and since then I’ve always had the energy and excitement to get up and go to work.
What’s your favourite cheese, and why?
Mozzarella is my favourite cheese as it’s very tasty and I like the way it stretches. It can also be used on anything.
