Today we’re shining a spotlight on the heartbeat of our operations—Mary Lo, our business administrator. Mary turns administrative tasks into an art form and ensures the gears of our business turn smoothly and sustainably.
What do you do at Bridge Cheese?
My role is business administrator. I am responsible for: HR, payroll, holiday and absence record updating, procurement (raising purchase orders for ingredients and consumables), carbon reduction monitoring, and organising staff training.
How long have you worked at Bridge Cheese?
Bridge Cheese is my first job in the UK and I started in December 2022. I previously worked in a factory in Hong Kong for 20 years.
What excites you most about your job?
Learning something new at work.
What is your superpower at work?
My superpower is working positively.
What do you like most about working for Bridge Cheese?
Friendly environment and it feels like home.

Mozzarella is my favourite cheese.
